Connor J Sheffield

My name is Connor Sheffield, and I'm an aspiring writer. I enjoy writing poetry, and fictional stories for short stories, novels, films and comics. Despite not having anything completed thus far in anything except poetry, I am not giving up on my dream to be a professional story teller because it's my passion.

My biggest inspirations in literature are Edgar Allan Poe and H.P. Lovecraft, but I am often inspired by music from many bands including (but not limited to) Lesbian Bed Death, Aurelio Voltaire, and Disturbed.

My favourite genre to write is Gothic Horror because I love creating the creepy spine tingling atmosphere with words, but my talent is not limited to that, because I write free verse since it's not restricting how I style my work. I have written many romantic poems, nature poems, and other themes of writing so that I can reach a wider audience.
