Avenging An Angel
Through teary eyes
She stuttered the verse
Of love lost
A tragic story
Of a young lady's curse
She was without a doubt
An Angel among men
Surrounded by demons
Lonely she wandered
Wielding no more than a pen
Her mind was lost
But a message it would send
Each verse a letter
Reporting her last breath
Before her life came to an end
For this young maiden
Had become a victim to pain
The demons inside mortals
As the horrifying memory
Tortured her innocent brain
She was in a dark place
But there was one last light
Her poems must be received
By her one true love
He who holds her in the night
She fell in the street
Her wounds still seeping
He knelt at her side
Pressing her cold corpse to his chest
Weeping
He swept her golden hair behind her ear once more
And caressed her pale cold skin
He discovered the letter, Her last words unspoken
He swore that night that he would avenge this sin
Until the last light
Until his final breath
He would hunt down the evil
And bring to them
A merciless death
